About Tyler Rooke

Tyler Rooke

Tyler Rooke is an award-winning landscape photographer based on the island of Maui. His images often depict nature in peaceful settings or places that evoke happiness. Born 1986 in Southern California Tyler grew up on the beach surfing, fishing and diving. He got serious about extreme sports photography around 2005. In 2008 he began traveling to the Pacific archipelagos of Hawai'i and Fiji as a freelance surf photographer. He soon found himself immersed with the Polynesian culture, surreal seascapes and kindhearted locals before taking up permanent residence on the Valley Isle of Maui and fulfilling his life-long dream of selling his art full-time. Tyler's intense love and respect of Hawaii's landscapes inspired him to put these images...
